The Korea's largest encryption exchange, Upbit, sold about 1.15 trillion won a week on Saturday, with $830 million in contract. The core of the condensation comes from XRP and TRUMP tokens, which show that the heat of the Korean bulk trade is rising after months of silence.

On 21 August, the amount of the Upbit single-day deal was significantly released over the previous period, rising to approximately $1.84 billion, a new high since mid-March. By Saturday, its total 24-hour turnover had further increased to about $3.81 billion.

XRP takes the lead in the deal.

According to Upbit DataLab, XRP accounted for 32.20 per cent of Upbit ' s past 24 hours, significantly higher than other assets. TRUMP ranks second, with 10.93 per cent; USDT is 8.39 per cent. The percentages were 5.44 per cent and 5.40 per cent.

In terms of structure, XRP contributes almost a third of the Platform's deal, which is the main driver of the current round. The rapid increase in TRUMP further magnifies the attractiveness of highly volatile assets to short-term finance.

Price increases drive back the flow of transactions

According to the report, the XRP has accumulated an increase of about 35 per cent over the past seven days. One of the market concerns is that Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse recently participated in the White House discussions on United States encryption legislation. At the same time, the increase in the dynamism of derivatives trading, as well as the large-scale build-up, are seen as supporting the recent growth of the XRP.

TRUMP tokens also showed a clear rebound. The latest transaction price of the coin was close to $2.34, 24 hours by approximately 26 per cent and over the past week by over 66 per cent. Prior to that, on August 13th, its price fell to a historical low of US$ 1.37.

The Korean diaspora's risk is up.

In the first half of this year, the Korean encryption market was generally flat. As AI and semi-conductor equities pushed the Republic of Korea ' s composite equity index up, some local investors once shifted to the domestic stock market. During the same period, Upbit and his competitor, Bitumb, were close to being cut off.

In this context, the recent upturn is seen as a sign of the re-emergence of the Korean retail encryption market. XRP has long had a high level of interest among the Korean diaspora, and its payments and quick settlement narratives continue to support related transaction needs.

However, it remains to be seen whether this round will evolve into a more sustainable return of encrypted Korean mobility. At least from the current transaction distribution, new risk preferences have been first concentrated on high-flexible assets such as XRP.
