The encryption market continues to rise in the new week. Bitcoin has risen from about $63,000 to almost $80,000 over the past seven days, and the weekly increase is about 25 per cent. Solana also rebounded simultaneously, once again on a weekend of $100, with a rapid rise in market sentiment.
Multiple Catalysing superimpose
It was reported that Trump had expressed support for the CIA Act before the September vote, and that the White House had held meetings on the subject of encryption. At the same time, the United States Treasury expanded its long-term public debt buy-back operations to $4 billion, and market expectations for the liquidity and regulatory environment improved.
The increase was further amplified by leverage. The Coinglass data show that, as of the week of August 22, the cumulative size of the encrypted market was close to $7 billion, of which approximately $5.2 billion came from empty space. The buyout brought about by empty returns is another factor driving up prices.
ETF, clear return of funds
The United States current bitcoin ETF net inflow last week was about $1.92 billion, the strongest single-week inflow since 2026. Reflows resonated with price increases, further reinforcing market risk preferences.
On the Solana side, US-based Solana ETF net inflow last week was about $28 million, the highest single week in 14 weeks. The cumulative inflow since August has amounted to $38.74 million, and the momentum continues with the remaining six trading days of the month.
Money continues to spread to the hills.
Following the strengthening of mainstream assets, funds also continued to flow to more volatile tokens. Hyperliquid HYPE rose to US$ 83.27 on August 23, a record high. Zcash has increased by more than 60% over the last seven days, and the market reaction is related to Graysdale submitting a live Zcash ETF application.
In Solana's ecology, PUMP and TRUMP tokens also rebounded. Both increased by over 100 per cent in the week and then fell back to about 70 per cent of the week's increase. At the same time, Strategy did not continue to buy bitcoin last week, but instead increased the United States dollar cash reserve by $1.59 billion, raising the total reserve to $5.1 billion.
Jackson Hall becomes the next point of view.
Next, the focus of the market turned to the Fed Jackson Hall Seminar on Economic Policy, held from 27 to 29 August. The theme of the session was “Financial innovation: implications for payments and policies”. For the first time on that occasion, the Federal Reserve Chairman, Kevin Warsh, will present his views on inflation, interest rates and financial conditions, which could be an important observation point at the macro level this week.
As prices move fast, the CoinMarketCap Index of Fear and Greed has risen to 81, rising from 40 last week to “extreme greed”, showing a clear recovery in market risk preferences.
