Instagram is putting autoclip capability directly into the Reels production process. New function First Draft A first draft of the video can be generated in 10 seconds, and users can obtain a version of the automatic collage before continuing to modify it without having to sort the material manually.
This feature is first open to iPhone users. The user can use both direct calls from the Instagram camera recording and a selection of multiple videos in the Reels library.
Main to shorten editing time
Instagram states that the goal of this function is to reduce the time the creator has to process the underlying clip. For users who are not familiar with specialized editing software, the automatic generation of first drafts also lowers the production threshold.
According to the product design, users do not have to start editing from the blank time line, but adjust first on the basis of the version generated by the system. In this way, Reels' production process will be closer to the "Mrs. Up and Up" model.
The function is not the first.
Automatic editing is not a new concept. Similar tools have previously appeared in Adobe Firefly's Quick Cuts and CapCut's Auto Cut.
Instagram, however, directly integrates the capabilities into its own application, which means that creators do not have to export the material to a third-party editor for processing and back to the platform for posting. For the platform, this will also help to keep the creative process on site.
This year, add the creator tool
Instagram has launched several updates this year for creators. This includes the “Replace Auto” function, which allows users to replace dynamic posts and music in the rehearsing content without deleting or re-uploading.
