There's been an increase in the temperature in recent days, according to the encrypted rumour around "GTA VI". Two materials that appeared in the USSRC public opinion system mentioned that a game called Sarkbux could be used in GTA VI ecology and discussed how technology based on Solana could be achieved. However, there is no evidence at this stage that Take-T two Interactive or Rockstar Gomes has formally approved the plan.
File mentions game currency and Solana architecture
On August 18, a submission described Sharkbux as a proprietary virtual currency related to the GTA VI ecology. The supplementary submission of 24 August further stated that the project could be deployed using the public chain and presented in the form of SPL tokens on Solana, provided that legal and operational reviews were completed.
This is more a technical option than a product arrangement that has landed, as expressed in the document. In other words, the material itself is not sufficient to prove that Rockstar or Take-Two have decided to introduce a block chain token.
Design closer to the controlled crediting system
As described in earlier documents, Sharkbux does not move as freely as a common encrypted token. It is not expected that such assets will be transferred directly between ordinary players, and related transfers will be handled by a company-controlled mechanism. Eligible content creators may convert their acquired balance through a separate plan.
This means that, even if the idea eventually moves forward, it is more in the form of a controlled in-playing tool than a token for free trade in open markets.
There's a TAKE2 in the chain.
Market speculation accelerated in part because a Solana wallet mentioned in the supplement was found to hold 600,000 newly created TAKE2 coins. The block chain browser signs the asset as a meme token associated with Pump.fun, but does not have a certified Take-Two official identification, which directly links the wallet or token to the issuer.
Such cases are not uncommon on the chain. As long as brand visibility is high enough, the market may quickly create a token around the narrative and attract liquidity. However, the token is already in the chain and does not amount to the branding party ' s involvement in issuing or endorsing the project.
Official disclosure still fails to mention the currency distribution plan
Take-Two confirmed in a performance paper issued on 7 August that GTA VI was still scheduled for sale on 19 November 2026. Rockstar official information currently lists the launch platforms as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Neither the Take-Two financial material nor the GTA VI official page refers to the Sharkbux, SPL or Solana integration arrangements. At this stage, these two materials that appear in the SEC system are more of a clue to the market connection than evidence that Rockstar has developed an encryption strategy.
