When the encrypted market warms up, the Solana chain memecoin deal reheated. The data show that last week Solana memecoin ' s spot trade reached $5.2 billion, the highest level since November 2025, and allowed it to reopen the gap with other major ecosystems.
Solana accounts for about 85% of the five markets.
Solana's lead is clear by week. Blockworks shows that last week Solana DEX had a total turnover of about $21.2 billion, of which memecoin had about 25 per cent.
- The DEX deal is about $9.6 billion. Memecoin is only $82.9 million.
- BNB Chain weekly cash transactions of approximately $7.1 billion and memecoin of $412.4 billion
- Base weekly cash transactions of about $6.55 billion, memecoin $31.06 million
In addition, Robinwood weekly cash transactions amounted to approximately $1.87 billion, of which memecoin transactions amounted to approximately $389.1.7 million, or 20.8 per cent.
If these five markets are combined, Solana ' s memecoin week volume is about 85 per cent of the total. On an absolute scale, the Solana memecoin turnover was about 12.6 times that of BNB Chain, 13.4 times that of Robinhood, 62.7 times that of the Taifung and 167.4 times that of Base.
Pump advanced cross-chain transactions
While trading back, Pump is expanding cross-chain trading services. At one time, this action raised concerns that the focus of its operations might shift from Solana.
However, the co-founder of Pump.fun, Alon, says that cross-chains are more like access to new users than weakening Solana 's positioning. According to him, the cost of cross-chain transactions, which the Platform did not charge for SOL exchange, had recently decreased to 0.1 per cent, mainly for bridge-covering costs.
Alon also stated that the service might not be profitable at an early stage, but that the platform would like to direct users to a token distribution platform on Solana, which is one of the sources of income.
Memecoin is still the most active plate.
The discussion around Solana's relationship with memecoin rose again as the trade picked up. According to Vibhu Norby, Chief Product Officer of Solana Foundation, memecoin is the most popular application of the encryption industry today and an important source of revenue for the industry.
A similar view was expressed by the CEO of Superteam USA, Amy Street. In her view, the mood surrounding memecoin remained the main driving force driving a large number of new users into the encrypted market.
From current data, the most immediate change continues to be the return of traders to the Solana chain, with the pace of high-frequency issuance and trading of coins increasing markedly to a level that has been rare for months.
