Atoire announced the completion of $9.5 million in seed ship finance on Thursday, with investments from a16z Spedrun, Night Capital and Jeremy Liew of Lightseed Ventures. Companies offer to consumers, at lower prices, high-end brands of homogenous materials, products produced in the same plant.
Low-priced access to luxury supply chains
Atoire was created by a continuous entrepreneur, Redouane Ramdani. He stated that the company did not sell simple imitations, but used the same materials, the same processes and products from the same plant. The Italian leather bags on the platform are sold for hundreds of dollars, while large-scale goods of the same kind tend to sell thousands of dollars.
According to Ramdani, young consumers are turning to cheaper goods, but with a similar appearance and quality. He's also positioned Atoire in slow fashion, not fast fashion.
AI Intervention in selection and production
Ramdani states that AI is used to analyse fashion trends, test colour matching and predict changes in demand. The system will also determine whether certain materials may be in short supply so that the plant can pre-load them.
On the consumer side, the Atoire website provides AI assistants who can generate fit-in advice based on the user ' s preferred character or style. The company is also observing the growth of the channel from platforms like ChatGPT and Claude.
Funds will go to logistics and own brands
According to Atoire, the company's sales last year were about $5 million, and this year's annualized revenue is expected to exceed $55 million. The current team has worked with over 40 factories around the world.
This round of financing will be used for logistics construction, AI tool development and production support. The company also plans to roll out its own clothing lines and help creators and Internet Reds to move faster to individual brands.
