The United States XRP investment product market continues to expand. The latest SEC document shows that the XRP-related funds series under ProShares have appeared in regulatory records, and the market focus has shifted to how institutional funds enter the asset through different products.
Fund series listed in the document
The report mentions that the records of the SEC earlier this year included UXRP in the existing fund series and that the regulatory body listed the fund and its code in its July document. This means that the layout of the Fund ' s products around XRP is gradually being clarified.
UXRP uses futures and other derivatives tools, with the goal of tracking twice the single-day increase in XRP. Such leverage products will be reset at each trading day, so that, in more volatile situations, there may be a significant deviation between long-term returns and “XRP drops simply times two”.
Continuous increase in product types
As the number of related products increases, so does traditional investors ' exposure to XRP. In addition to the direct possession of the tokens, alternative pathways have emerged in the market:
- Cash-type products
- Futures-based funds
- Leverage ETF with Mixed Policy Products
Such arrangements allow some institutions and traditional funds to build up a relevant exposure without having to hold directly an XRP. For the United States market, product line expansion per se deserves more attention than a single document.
Demand-heating leads to higher prices
It was reported that the demand for XRP products was increasing. Inflows have also contributed to a significant increase in the XRP in the recent past, which has increased by more than 40 per cent in seven days, led by active ETF purchases and Korean spot trade.
The original location of the XRP was more oriented towards payment and quick settlement scenarios than was designed around investment products. As funds, futures and leverage instruments are being refined, XRP is being integrated into a more mature traditional financial product system.
