DonAlt, a trader who had been concerned about the early capture of the last wave of XRP, recently turned his eyes to the Ether. According to external sources, he believes that ETH is currently one of the most “structured” graphs in the encrypted market because prices remain above the top after they have broken critical positions.
The ETH focus is $2,400.
According to reports, the Etheraf delivered on August 30th near US$ 2455 to US$ 2460. Prior to that, prices had fallen, but remained in the $2,400 area. If this position continues, the recent pattern of breakthroughs will not be destroyed.
DonAlt started building a warehouse on August 13th, near US$ 1878. After that, it rose to $2,000, and at one point it stood at $2,500, and then it was sorted.
His current focus is on the next resistance position near $2816. If ETH continues to move up to the region from around US$ 2460 by reported calibre, the increase is about 14 per cent.
ETF funding flows support the movement
According to the article, this round is not just an improvement in the form of technology, but is accompanied by off-the-shelf funding. Coinpaper mentions that when the Ether Fever had previously breached $2,400, the net one-day inflow of United States spot ETF reached $220.7 million.
According to the report, the recent ETH rebound has been underpinned not only by a trade-level push, but also by a buy-in of institutional funds. That's one of the reasons DonAlt sees ETH as a broader market for coins, not just a single deal.
There's still money in the XRP.
DonAlt was mainly concerned because he had earlier presented his breakthrough judgement when XRP was still below $1 at the end of 2024, and given key areas such as $1.20, $2.90 and $6.90. XRP has since risen to about $3.66 in July 2025.
The report notes, however, that he is now placing greater emphasis on the reference value of ETH rather than giving new XRP targets again. According to the article, the market is now more concerned about whether the Ethera can continue to hold the breakout.
At the same time, the XRP has fallen since the previous round of rapid increases. It was reported that the XRP had risen by 43.7 per cent within 7 days as of 26 August, but then fell from a high of close to $1.70 on 22 August to about $1.39.
Although the prices were withdrawn, the funds were not clearly withdrawn. The United States current XRP ETF recorded a net inflow of $110.49 million in the week ending 28 August, the strongest single-week performance since 2026, with a cumulative net inflow of approximately $16.6 billion.
From the clues given in the article, the continued steadyness of ETH for $2400 remains a more visible signal in the short term. If this position is lost, the current breakthrough structure will be significantly weaker; if it is maintained, the vicinity of $2816 will remain the next market area of concern.
