Bitcoin rebounded to about $79,000, and Strategy held 840,447 BTCs back to the profit zone. The company's rate of disclosure shows that it usually updates the buy-in of bitcoin in the early morning of Monday, and almost two months after the buy-out, the market begins to look at whether it will restart the increase.
Holding value back above cost line
According to CoinGecko, quoted in the text, Bitcoin rose on Sundays to approximately $79,007 and Strategy held a market value of approximately $66.4 billion. Based on average warehouse costs of US$ 75,653, this portion of the warehouse is approximately 4.4 per cent higher than the cost and has an excess of US$ 2.8 billion.
This change also put an end to the apparent volatility of previous months. It was reported that in July, bitcoin had fallen to the vicinity of $58,000, and that Strategy warehouse had suffered a loss of about $13 billion. As bitcoin rose from about $62,000 to over $70,000 this month, this portion of the book losses was recovered.
After almost two months of suspense, the market was concerned about returning to growth.
Michael Saylor posted a statement on the social platform over the weekend that "We're Back," further provoking speculation as to whether Strategy will resume buying money. At the same time, however, it was noted that the letter did not indicate directly that the company was about to buy in.
Strategy has continued to advance the Bitcoin accumulation strategy over the past years, but has not continued for about two months, which is less common in its historical operations. The market thus links price recovery to the company ' s next capital arrangement, with particular attention to whether it will restart conventional purchases.
Most of the bitcoin was not used recently through stock-market financing
Reports indicate that Strategy recently financed $334 million through the sale of MSTR shares, without using most of its bitcoin hold. By incorporating this approach into the so-called capital management framework, companies show that their funding arrangements are moving from single holdings to more flexible financial operations.
However, Strategy has not been completely unsold in recent months. It was reported that the company had sold a small amount of bitcoin to pay priority dividends and buy back shares. This is a change from the previous emphasis on long-held statements.
Bitcoin is still below the top.
Despite the re-encumbering of the warehouse, the current level of profitability remains significantly below the previous highs. One of the reasons for the reported fall of Bitcoin to US$ 76,877 on Friday was, among other things, that Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Walsh stated that inflation was still not cooling fast enough to drive the market's expectations of a September hike.
At present, bitcoin prices are still below the historical high of nearly $126,000 in October. In other words, Strategy ' s book return, although positive, is still low compared to its previous peak.
Additional information:The company's disclosure rhythm was usually concentrated on the morning of Monday, but as of the time of the release of the report, Sailor's social platform communication did not confirm that new bitcoin purchases had taken place.
