The U.S. has a military agenda to turn the Holmuz dispute into an overall security pressure on Iraq

The United States, for its part, seeks both to contain this expansion and to easily further infiltrate its influence into the Strait of Hormuz.” He added that both sides had ignored the economic and trade dynamics around the Strait of Hormuz and had focused on their respective military influence. “The United States intends to ensure that any challenge to its presence in the Straits of Hormuz eventually turns into a direct security threat to Iran. This is a clear military strategy: to ensure that conflicts or disputes are not limited to the narrow area of the Strait of Hormuz, but place the Iranian State itself at immediate security risk.” Kim Xian
