The AI Voice Starter Gradium completed $100 million in seed-wheel financing with the support of British Wida
On Thursday, Gradium, a start-up company based in Paris that provided voice-AI models, announced that its seed-wheel financing had been reopened to new investors, including Ingweida, and had now reached $100 million. The company plans to use this money to establish offices in the Bay Area (San Francisco) and to compete for local talent, which, as Gradium put it, is intended to “consolidate its position as a global leader in the core of the AI ecosystem”. Although Paris is the main AI centre in Europe, this is also a sign of recognition of the benefits that AI’s start-up companies can bring by approaching giants such as Anthropic, Google, Meta and OpenAI.
