The Prime Minister of Pakistan called for the implementation of the Me-Iraq Memorandum of Understanding to maintain regional peace

On the evening of 11 July, at the local time of the Prime Minister ' s Office, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shabaz Sharif, spoke to the President of Iran, Pizehiziyan, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, by telephone on the same day, about the situation in the region, among others. In a conversation with Iranian President Pezehziang, Sabah stressed the need to restore regional peace and stability as soon as possible. He called on all concerned to exercise maximum restraint and to refrain from any action that might undermine the achievements of peace.
