Fuda International: the Federal Reserve may not start an interest rate increase until December
On 3 August, Fuda International stated that the Federal Reserve ' s decision-making at last week ' s conference was generally neutral and hawk-like, as three officials voted against the policy interest rate, although it remained unchanged, indicating that there was still disagreement among decision-makers as to whether further austerity was required. Fulda International believes that, in the face of supply-side shocks and increased inflationary pressures, the Fed is still inclined to be patient, indicating that the authorities may choose to observe the continuation of price pressures at this stage, pending confirmation of more economic data before taking action. Fulda International believes that it is more likely that the Federal Reserve will not start an interest rate increase until December, provided inflation and labour market data remain strong. However, the Bank also emphasized that economic data and geopolitical developments over the next two months may still push up the risk of inflation and that the possibility of next month ' s interest rate hike has not yet been completely eliminated。
