Telephone talks between the Iranian Foreign Minister and senior Saudi and Pakistani officials

According to information received from the Iranian side on 3 August, on the evening of 2 August, at local time, the Iranian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Aragzi, held telephone talks with the Saudi Arabian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Fayssal, and the Chief of Staff of the Pakistan Army, Munir. The talks were part of a series of regional consultations aimed at maintaining security and stability in the region. According to the information received, this was the second round of talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Aragzi and Faisal and Munir in 24 hours. The talks reviewed recent diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at maintaining and strengthening security and stability in the region.
