President of Iran: I will not resign
On 4 August, according to an interview forecast scheduled to be broadcast on national television, Iranian President Masood Pezehiziyan stated on Tuesday that he would not resign and promised to continue his duties. “We fully coordinate with the armed forces. I won't quit. I'll hold my position. If I decide to resign, I will officially announce." Before this statement was made, senior cleric Mohamed Bagher Harrazi made the statement, and Harrazi's sister married the brother of Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei. Kharrazi claimed that Pezehiziyan had been blackmailed by 28 resignations and had received warnings that he would not submit a resignation if it was approved again. "The New Wave"
