Three arrows for the sale of Zhu Su's wife's $40 million in Dubai property

On 5 August, according to the Business Times, the three arrow capital liquidators filed a lawsuit against Dr. Tauyajong, wife of Zhu Su, for the proceeds of the sale of approximately $40 million (approximately 146 million Dubai Diram). The liquidator alleged that Zhu Su had purchased a Dubai property in the amount of DH 110 million (approximately $30 million) three weeks before the three arrows of capital entered the liquidation proceedings in June 2022, using $50 million in encrypted currency diverted from the company, and transferred the property to his wife in October 2023 while serving a sentence in Singapore. The property was subsequently sold in January 2024. According to the liquidator, the transfer was intended to be outside the recourse of the liquidator and creditors, and Zhu Su did not disclose the property to the liquidator as required. Dr. Tao denied the charges, stated that he had no knowledge of the source of the funds and applied for annulment of the proceedings on the grounds that they had been granted in good faith. At present, three arrow capital is in debt to creditors of over $3 billion, and the liquidator is reportedly seeking to recover some $1.3 billion from its co-founders。
