Kraken parent company adjusts xStocks governance design

On 6 August, the Kraken parent company Payward announced that it would work with Broadridge to allow eligible xStocks holders to submit their proxy voting intentions for their shares, changing the previous arrangement whereby xStocks was not entitled to vote. The goal of xStocks, released by Backed, is for qualified investors other than the United States and the United Kingdom. The target currently being supported has been extended to Hong Kong ' s listed shares through cooperation with the Financial Science and Technology Infrastructure Provider GTN, with follow-up plans to reach the United Kingdom, Europe, and South Korea markets. Broadridge will provide digital asset infrastructure support for the product, including proxy voting, post-trading services, wallets and hosting。
