The White House denied that there was a dispute between Trump and Hegessex over the shortage of ammunition

On 5 August, local time, the United States White House Press Secretary Levitte stated that the report that President Trump and Secretary of Defense Högseth had “controversials at Camp David, Maryland, over the serious shortage of United States military missile stocks during the Iranian war” was “false news”. Levitte said that she was at Camp David with the Trung Popular Hegesses and that the story had not happened. They have also clarified this to the Washington Post on several occasions. The Washington Post, in its 5th report, citing sources of information, reported that last week Trump expressed strong dissatisfaction at Camp David with regard to Iran and requested an explanation from Chief of Defense Högsethys on the serious shortage of arms.
