According to recent sources, the President of the United States, Trump, has rejected the request of President Zelensky of Ukraine to purchase hundreds of more “patriotic” missiles on the grounds that the United States own stocks are strained and that the United States needs to respond to the conflict with Iran. In July, Trump had proposed at the NATO summit the idea of authorizing Ukraine to produce “patriotic” missiles, but he had recently indicated that such authorization needed to be treated with caution.
