Ernst and Young: The Fed will probably maintain interest rates until the end of the year

On 7 August, the An Yong-Patainon consultancy projected that the Fed would maintain interest rates at the same level until the end of the year, even if the non-farm employment report was available on Friday. Wall Street expects an increase of 83,000 in non-farm employment in July, but Ernst and Young indicate that the labour market remains stable and unlikely to change the focus of the Fed's policy. According to the Agency, conditions for further interest rate hikes can be achieved only if inflation increases and continues to rise, or if there is a significant re-heating of employment。
