Hyperliquid Policy Center submitted a statement to the CFTC calling for support for futures innovation on the chain
On 7 August, Hyperliquid Policy Center, HPC attended the CFTC Agricultural Advisory Council meeting on 7 August and submitted an official statement. The statement revolves around three points: first, the need for agricultural end-users to diversify market choices, and the historical ban on agricultural options has proved to be excessively restrictive; secondly, the CFTC ' s phased approach to the renewal of contracts is the right path, and end-user demand should drive the adoption of new derivatives; and thirdly, the public block chain helps to modernize the liquidation and settlement infrastructure, while increasing collateral mobility and preserving the market integrity protection mechanism of the Commodity Exchange Act. HPC has indicated that it will continue to work with farming communities to promote the regulatory landing of a lasting contract on the United States market。
