Galaxy: Ether and Solana may reconsider the inflation model
According to Lucas Tcheyan, Vice-President of Galaxy Research, ISA and Solana are facing a similar policy issue: how many coins are needed to pay for network security and when the cost of the security budget exceeds its effectiveness? At present, two-chain inflation change proposals have not yet been approved. The proposal number of the Taifung has been changed from EIP-8361 to EIP-8363, which has been assigned. EIP-8363 proposes to burn gradually the share of the Consensus Level certifiers ' incentive when the rate of pledges increases at the Taichai. While Solana considered two changes, SIMD-0550 raised the annual inflation rate from 15 to 30 per cent, SGP-0002 and SGP-0003 asked, respectively, whether the certifying and client should pursue faster movements. Galaxy believes that as the network matures, both communities are reassessing their security costs。
