Core Scientific shareholders refuse to buy $9 billion, and the AMD agreement proves it's still valid
Core Scientific (NASDAQ: CORZ) shareholders rejected a $9 billion acquisition proposal. On 28 July, the company announced an important infrastructure collaboration with AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and is expected to start providing over 500 MW of U.S. data centre capacity for AMD ecosystems in 2027, which could be extended to 2.5 GW in the future.
