Strategy sold 1690 BTCs last week to repurchase STRC priority shares
On 10 August, according to an 8-K document submitted by Strategy to the USSEC, the company sold 1690 bitcoin at an average price of approximately US$ 64,262 from 3 to 9 August 2026, for a total of approximately US$ 108.6 million, all of which was spent on repurchase of the SRC priority shares. As at 9 August, Strategy had a cumulative stock of 840,447 bitcoins at a total warehouse cost of approximately $63.36 billion at an average cost of approximately $75,385. During the same period, the company sold 6.5857 million MSTR general shares through the ATM plan, with a net fund-raising of approximately $653.1 million, of which $650 million was to replenish the dollar reserve and $31 million was to be included in the cash balance; an additional 1,152,000 SRC priority shares were to be repurchased at $108.6 million, with the balance of the priority equity buy-back plan being approximately $785.2 million.
