Korea's five major exchanges have fallen by 10 trillion won, making it nearly two years and nine months low

On July 11, Digital Asset reported that the weekly value of Korea's five major compliance and encrypted currency exchanges (Upbit, Bitthumb, Coinone, Korbit, Gopax) had been down five weeks in a row and had broken 10 trillion won. According to the data, the total turnover of the five major exchanges between 3 and 10 July was approximately 9,96766 trillion won, a decrease of 2575 per cent compared with the previous week (approximately 13.4 trillion won) and a cumulative decline of 43.5 per cent over a month compared to the beginning of June (17.7 trillion won). This was the first time since late September 2023 that the data fell by 10 trillion won, or about two years and nine months later. In terms of market share, Upbit maintained its first share of 63.02 per cent, but it declined by 3.95 percentage points from the previous week。
