Coinbase, with Abu Dhabi regulatory permission, will establish an international monetization centre

On 11 August, Coinbase announced that it had obtained a financial services licence (FSP) from the Abu Dhabi Global Markets Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to establish an international monetization centre at the Abu Dhabi Global Marketplace (ADM). The permit allows them to enter into investment trading arrangements and hosting operations and provides a regulatory basis for the introduction of tokenized securities. Coinbase stated that this was an important development in its efforts to advance the development of a network of capital markets and a monetized securities infrastructure, and regarded the United Arab Emirates as one of its key financial infrastructure hubs outside the United States。
