Coinbase Business upgrades to support AI Agent payments

On 12 August, Coinbase announced the upgrading of its business-level payment product Coinbase Business, which introduced a number of new features, including support for AI Agent automatic payments, access to USDT payments, reusable payment links, flexible pricing, catalogue management and buyer information collection, with the aim of helping enterprises to accept more easily encrypted currency payments. The biggest change in this upgrade is to support AI Agent payments. Coinbase Business is now compatible with the open machine payment standard x 402, and the Checkout payment process previously used by the enterprise is directly open to transactions initiated by AI Agent. The funds will be settled to the enterprise through USDC on an instant basis and can be used to generate income or cash at any time。
