K33 DATA SHOWS THAT BTC/USDT CONTRACT TRANSACTIONS FELL TO A LOW OF 2023
K33 data show that, as at 10 August, the average combined BTC/USDT transactions for the 30-day renewal of the Binance and Bybit contracts had fallen to $10.8 billion, representing a decline of 18 to $1.8 billion in the past week to the lowest single-week average of the daily averages of bitcoin transactions since 2023 and 2024. At the same time, between 1 June and 11 August, on average, Bitcoin's non-renewal contract stock of about 300,000 BTCs remained relatively high. The K33 Research Manager, Vetle Lunde, stated that low-trading activities coexisted with a high level of unevenness, exposing the market to the risk of two-way liquidation-driven fluctuations。
