ASSETS WORTH $25.6 MILLION WERE STOLEN AND THE ATTACKERS CONVERTED ASSETS SUCH AS WBTC INTO DAI AND ETH

On 13 August, all assets of the attackers, including WBTC, cbBTC, LDO, USDS and CRV, were converted to DAI and ETH, according to chain detective Specter monitoring. The same wallet was stolen in September 2023 for malicious token authorization of $24.23 million, and the attackers eventually returned approximately 90 per cent of the stolen funds.
