Some $25 million was stolen from a holder suspected of a private key leak, and $24 million was lost in 2023 in a fishing attack

On 13 August, Scam Sniffer monitored that an encrypted currency holder was allegedly emptied of two wallets within a short period of 15 minutes because of a private key leak, at a loss of approximately $25 million. The two addresses belonging to the same victim transferred all assets - DAI, WBTC, AUSDC, LDO, SUSDE and the original ETH - to an entirely new address. Within one hour, stolen funds were converted to DAI and ETH: 20 million of them were transferred to another address, and about 3,000 ETH remained at the integration address. The incident was suspected to have been leaked as a private key rather than a regular fishing authorization. It is noteworthy that the victim ' s address was the same wallet of 4851 rETHs and 9579 stETHs (approximately $24 million) lost in September 2023 as a result of the signing of a fishing trade. The attackers eventually returned about 90 per cent of the stolen funds。
