Andre Cronje: DeFi is dead and now it's just "financial chain"

On August 13, Fantom's founder, former Sonic Labs, created Andre Cronje recently: I think DeFi no longer exists outside those very small subdivisions. The vast majority of DeFi agreements today are “chain-based finance” or “open finance” and the real DeFi needs to meet the three conditions of decentrization, immutability and non-intermediary, a description that no longer holds true for almost any of the current agreements.
