United States dollars and silver: the currency market and bond funds make the most money a week
According to the Bank of the United States, all major asset classes recorded a net inflow of funds during the week ending 12 August, with the IMF and bond funds attracting the most funds. The Bank of the United States cited EPFR Global data that the money market fund attracted $25.4 billion in inflows, bond funds $23.8 billion and equity funds $16.1 billion. The Gold Fund attracted $6.3 billion in inflows, the largest one-week inflows since January of this year; and the Encrypted Monetary Fund, $300 million. (Pembo)
