Mixedbread released HOLEMBED v3: First semantic model beyond BM25

Mixedbread published a full-mode multilingual search model, Holembed v3, which became the first semantic model to go beyond the BM25 word search on the LIMIT benchmark. The model uses a late-interaction multi- vector structure to support text, picture, audio and video retrieval, covering more than 100 languages. Mixedbread also released a special search for antent toast 1, designed for large models such as GPT and Claude, which are officially said to have a search quality close to the front-line closed-source model but at a faster and lower price. Toast 1 has been opened through API and the supporting search framework is open, but model weights are not open。
