110 encrypted money companies closed or reorganized in 2026 with a total financing of $687 million

Alea Research reported that at least 110 encrypted money companies had closed or reorganized in 2026 and that they had disclosed a total of $687.1 million in historical financing. Of these, 40 companies have closed down in the area of decentralised finance and 17 in the area of infrastructure. The median amount of financing for the closed-down encryption companies this year was $5.28 million and 4.69 years。
