OpenAI responds to high-calculation mode alerts: the Codex and ChatGPTwork levels have been urgently reset
OpenAI Codex core member Tibo wrote that it had been too easy for users to use high-calculation models before, but had failed to adequately account for their impact on the level of use, leading to problems with some of the multiple proxy workflows, plug-in functions and other experiences, and even causing some users to mispercept that Codex would be eliminated in the future. The first improvements have been introduced on an urgent basis, including the adjustment of default settings and model choosers to avoid the misuse of high-cost configurations by users, and the emergency re-engineering of the Codex and ChatGPTwork levels has been undertaken twice. The next round of updates is expected to go online next week, with dialogue and project functions returning to the sidebar in a more familiar and self-defined form, while enhancing the visibility of high-calculation models in terms of usage and replacement time, and further clarifying the respective scenarios for ChatGPT World and Codex。
