a16z co-founder Marc Andreasen joined the Fed ' s AI Working Group to study the impact of AI on productivity and employment

The United States Federal Reserve Board (Fed) announced that the co-founder of a16z, Marc Andreasen, would join the Working Group on Productivity and Employment, led by Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh, to study the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on economic growth, job markets and productivity, including Charles I. Jones, Professor of Economics at Stanford University, currently on leave in Anthropic, and Asha Sharma, Executive Vice-President of Microsoft and head of Xbox. It is known that Marc Andreasen had previously publicly supported Walsh as Chairman of the Fed. On social platform X, he said that Walsh “had both economic and financial insight and a deep understanding of technology and business”。
