Charles Hoskinson launched the Open Source Project Anthropies to address watermarks
Wu stated that it had been informed that Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, had released the open source project Anthropies, stating that it was developing a tool that could be used in conjunction with most LLM to process watermarks and associated markings in the Anthropics/Claude output. According to Project README, the tool distinguishes three types of information: the statistical watermark in the text, the C2PA content certificate in the picture, and the signature of Co-autored-by-Claude in the Git submission, both of which can be directly removed, while the text watermark weakens the statistical signal by rewrite the content by using non-original models. The project by Hoskinson, at the same time challenging the possible attribution of copyrights and works to the relevant watermarks and joint signatures, also noted that there was no guarantee of complete circumvention of the undisclosed monitoring mechanism of Anthropics。
