General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces: We will not retreat until the enemy is defeated

The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces issued a statement on the occasion of the commemoration of the “Front Return to the Motherland of Iranian Prisoners of War”, in which it congratulated the veterans and their families who had been released and stressed that the sacred resistance and tenacity inherited from the generation of those who had been released had now passed on to a new generation of committed youth. The statement stated that that valuable legacy had always embodied the spirit of the Iranian people ' s quest for justice and their resistance to oppression. The people of Iran, who have supported the armed forces for more than 160 consecutive days and nights, in their call for revenge for the late leader, have stressed the need to firmly defend the strength, prestige and will of resistance of the armed forces against the arrogance and greed of the hegemonic and global imperialist forces, headed by “terrorist America”.
