The Iranian pressure operation lacks a clear way out
According to Bloomberg, there is no clear way out of the pressure in Iran. The Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs, Jan Gavito, and the retired Deputy Navy Admiral Robert Hawald, provided a very different assessment of whether US economic pressure could change Iran’s decision-making on the show at Bloomberg this weekend. Gavito believes that sanctions alone are unlikely to provide a way out, while Hawad suggests that sanctions can weaken Tehran if combined with political and military pressure。
