According to Bitcoin.com, on 23 July the European Union adopted the 21st set of sanctions against Russia, imposing a trade ban on 14 encryption services platforms in Georgia, Panama, the United Arab Emirates and Belarus, and, on 25 August, prohibiting Russian and Belarusian citizens from holding any position or ownership of encryption services within the framework of the European Union MICA, as well as authorizing the European Union to impose a comprehensive trade embargo on third countries that have failed to prevent the use of sanctions for encryption。
