Vaneck report: 8 signals of surrender in the Bitcoin market triggered or were in the accumulation phase
Wu said it had been informed that Vaneck ' s latest Bitcoin Chaincheck report indicated that, as at 12 August, 8 of the 12 bitcoin market surrender signals it was tracking were being triggered and all 12 had entered the surrender zone within the last three months. Vaneck argues that Bitcoin has entered its tenth month of retreat since its height in October 2025, and that the market may be approaching or already entering the accumulation phase, with the potential for a turnover roughly falling between September and November. However, historical estimates indicate that after a similar sign of surrender, Bitcoin did not show significant excess returns for the next three to six months, performed better than the benchmark for only one year and had limited relevant samples. Over the past 30 days, BTC holdings for more than one year decreased by between 357,000 and 11.84 million, representing 59.1 per cent of the current supply, and net inflows to the United States spot Bitcoin ETP of approximately $663 million over the same period, with a volatility of 27.2 per cent over 30 days。
