Canadian Prime Minister Kani pushed for the lifting of the United States alcohol sales ban

Canadian Prime Minister Kany is pushing for an end to a partial ban on retail sales of alcohol in the United States, in the hope that this will facilitate the eventual landing of the American and Caribbean trade agreement. The Governor of Nova Scotia, Tim Houston, stated that during a teleconference with provincial governors on Wednesday, Kani asked provincial leaders to resume sales of United States wines and spirits at local shops after the agreement had been finalized. In the past year, the export sales of United States wine and distilled wine producers declined significantly in most Canadian provinces as a result of the fall of United States wine products in retaliation for tariffs imposed by the Trump Government. At present, most provinces, including Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, maintain United States alcohol sales bans. The White House believes that an end to these prohibitions is one of the core pillars of any US-China trade agreement。
