Gallego: The CLARITY Bill is eager to vote that could undermine the encryption process
Senator Ruben Gallego of the Arizona Democratic Party warned on 19 August that rushing to move forward with the vote on the CLARITY bill could undermine negotiations on the United States encrypted market structure bill. He called on the encryption industry to support continued negotiations rather than demanding an immediate vote at the Salt Lake City block chain seminar. He said: “Don't pursue a quick vote, which will produce a quick result, but I am not sure if it is the result you want.” This warning coincided with a planned procedural vote on 15 September to decide whether to begin formal consideration of the H.R. 3633 bill。
