Grayscale ' s application to update Zcash ETF, DCG subsidiary considering investing $110 million in ZEC
Grayscale recently submitted a fourth amendment to convert the Zcash trust into an ETF, while a subsidiary of its parent company, Digital Currency Group (DCG), is considering investing approximately 200,000 ZECs, currently worth approximately $110 million. According to the statement of registration submitted to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on 18 August, Grayscale plans to list the converted shares in the NYSE Arca trust, and the existing ZCSH code will continue to be used. The amendment also states that DCG International Investments Ltd., as a potential investor, is discussing the purchase of shares representing approximately 200,000 ZECs. Grayscale stressed that no binding purchase agreement had yet been reached and that the final transaction might differ significantly from the amount discussed。
