THE SEC SUSPENDED THE ENCRYPTION INNOVATION WAIVER UNTIL SEPTEMBER 15TH
The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) suspended its planned exemption for encryption innovation prior to voting on the Clarity Act on 15 September. Brett Redfearn, President of Securitize, stated that the exemption had been withdrawn by the SEC last Friday because of concerns about the progress of the Clear Act on the digital asset market. He anticipated that the rule would be reintroduced in early October. The innovative exemption is intended to provide regulatory avenues for companies wishing to use block-chain infrastructure to issue and trade tokenized securities。
