CME CEO:trade.xyz and Hyperliquid are having an impact on the United States market

On August 21, the Chairman of the Chicago Commodity Exchange (CME) Group and CEO Terry Duffy said at the CFTC Innovation Advisory Board meeting this morning thattrade.xyz and Hyperliquid were having a real impact on the United States market. Trade.xyz is the main market builder in the Hyperliquid chain, focusing on long-term contracts such as stocks, commodities and Pre-IPO, which already account for a significant share of Hyperliquid. Duffy has on several occasions publicly focused on the leverage and regulation of such offshore platforms. In addition, Duffy has engaged heavily with the Chairman of CFTC, Michael Selig, and the Chief Operator of Kalshi, Luana Lopes Lara, on the issue of predicting market regulation. According to Duffy, there is a risk that part of the forecast market contracts will be manipulated, especially those that are listed by self-certification. He noted that some of the contracts related to the content of the State of the Trump State of the Nation address and to the departure of President Maduro of Venezuela might have been manipulated and said that they were detrimental to the entire industry。
