Coinbase CEO: U.S. encryption regulatory clarity or key developments by mid-September

On 21 August, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong sent a letter indicating that the regulatory clarity would appear to have arrived, regardless of the route through. He listed two possibilities: the United States Senate obtained over 60 votes on 15 September; and the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) introduced a new set of rules on 16 September。
