QCP Group: Long-end interest rates and the emptiness of the durability contract drive the BTC up
The QCP Group analysis indicates that BTC rose from approximately $64,000 to nearly $76,000 in four trading days, during which time the 30-year United States rate of return on sovereign debt reached a high of about 5.33 per cent since 2007. The United States Department of the Treasury announced an increase in single long-term liquidity buy-backs from up to $2 billion to at least $4 billion, effective 9 September. QCP states that the initial breakout of the current round was primarily driven by an empty replenishment of the permanent contract, that Wednesday was about 15 times more than the current buyout, and that the unwinded contract was largely flat, and then the leverage was re-accumulated as the price continued on Thursday. On Wednesday, the United States spot BTC ETF net inflow of $517 million a day, a new high since May, a fall in the sustainable financing rate from its highs, no corresponding reversal of the BTC price, and a significant increase in the implicit volatility at the front end of the right。
