Polygon Team advanced the pledge and economic model reform proposal

The Polygon team is moving forward with a reform proposal for the pledge and economic model in response to strong community demands. According to the team, this year revenues have increased tenfold, processing capacity has reached 5,000 transactions per second, block time has been reduced by 25 per cent and is expected to be less than one second. The original L1 pledge would then be introduced, and the priority costs would flow to the pledge. The proposal had been approved in PIP-85, but progress in its roll-out had been slower owing to the challenges of implementation at the Etherak. The pledge proceeds are expected to almost double, financed by real network costs rather than inflation. In addition, the pledge POL will be provided with additional incentives, possibly including discounts on gas costs. Polygon Labs will build codes and present proposals in community forums for approval。
