GoPlusSecurity: The assailants hijacked LayerZero's terms of reference and found no support for the SAN

GoPlusSecurity reported that, on 21 August, the attackers had hijacked the authority of the LayerZero Omnichanin Fungible Token contract, forged cross-chain messages and started to forge unlimited unsupported USSAN coins, resulting in the printing of trillions of coins. Owing to liquidity and reserve restrictions, losses were contained at approximately $670,000. The targeted purses include: 0x67624bfadee 937c9281b4f98ce18af1bee01257e, 0x07bc449e85d9b66899425df8c8ab49cfb44a5f1e etc. GoPlusSecurity suggests that the projector disables arbitrary calls and monitors events, and users are warned not to trade $SAN on Base or BSC to prevent contamination of mobility。
